Frequently Asked Questions about Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges

 

How do I return?


- Write email to customercare@millinen.com

- Enter your order number email address and phone number to start.
- Let us know the reasons why you want to return and refund for the purchased Linen Shirt from the Millinen website. 
- Once your request is approved, you will get a confirmation email. The address to return the products is: 
  Online Department, Millinen, 6/29, Gopalakrishna Road, T. Nagar, Chennai 600017.

What items are returnable?

Return and Refund Policy : - 


- Millinen offers returns within 7 days for unworn, unaltered items with original tags; worn items are non-returnable, and exchanges or refunds are subject to inspection upon return to ensure they meet these conditions.
-If an item is out of stock or differs from its description, we will promptly notify the customer and provide a full refund or replacement.

-Millinen offers 7 days return warranty on linen shirts for manufacturing defects. If a defect is found, customers may return or exchange the item for a refund or replacement, provided the shirt has not been altered or damaged through misuse and subject to inspection upon return to ensure they meet these conditions.

What items are non-refundable?


- Gift cards.
- Discounted items (if applicable).
- Items mentioned as non-refundable on the respective product pages.

The item I received is damaged!


- If the purchased product is faulty, reach out to us within 7 days of the delivered date to Email customercare@millinen.com

Can the items be exchanged?


- We allow the exchange of purchased items for selectable variants.
- The product must be returned to us in unused and resalable condition with its original packaging.
- Once the exchange request is approved and we receive the product, the replaced item will be shipped to you.
- The one-time shipping cost is to be borne by the customer.
- If the product received from you is in unsellable condition, we may deduct 20% of the MRP of the returned product before processing the exchange.

What are the refund options?


- For Prepaid Orders: Your refund will be issued within 3-4 business days from the date when we receive the products.
- For COD Orders: Cheque payment / NEFT transfer will be processed within 7-15 business days from the date when we receive the products.

How do I ship back the items?


- For instructions on how to ship the returned products, refer to the email received after placing the return request.
- Please ensure that the items are securely packaged to avoid damage during transit.
- You are advised to use a trackable shipping service or purchase shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

How soon will I get my refund?


- Once your returned item is received and inspected, you will be notified via email.
- You will also be informed about the approval or rejection of your refund request.
- If approved, the refund request will be processed based on the refund options mentioned above.

Additional Points:


-Partial Refunds: In certain situations, only partial refunds are granted (if applicable):
- Any item not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 7 days after delivery.
-Processing Fees: A restocking fee of 10% may be applied for returns that are not due to our error.
-Customer Responsibility: Customers are responsible for paying for their own shipping costs for returning items. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Reverse Pickup:


- We will arrange reverse pickup wherever feasible. In exceptional circumstances where reverse pickup is unavailable in your area, you may be requested to dispatch the products via a reliable courier.

Packaging for Returns:


- Articles should be securely packed with tags intact for facilitation of returns. Damaged or untagged garments will not be accepted for return.

Refunds:


- Upon receiving the product at our warehouse, we will process the refund based on the payment method:
- For prepaid orders, the total order value will be refunded to the original payment source.
- For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, we will initiate NEFT/IMPS to the provided account details. These details should be provided in the Email: customercare@millinen.com
- Shipping charges and gift packing charges (if applicable) will not be refunded.
- For Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking payments, it may take 10-15 business days for the refund to reflect in your account (depending on your bank).

Incorrect or Insufficient Data:


- Millinen is not liable for any incorrect or insufficient data provided while filling the Bank Details for COD refunds in the Email via customercare@millinen.com to us.

​

Packaging and Free Items:


- Refunds are applicable only for the purchased article, not for any packaging, gifts, or free items included.

​

Reward Points:


-Full Return: We fully reverse the redeemed reward points, if any.
-Partial Return: We adjust the reward points (if any) proportionately to the total order value and the value of the returned item.

Limitation of Liability

​

Millinen's liability is limited to direct damages only, excluding any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and we are not responsible for delays or losses due to events beyond our reasonable control.

Terms and Conditions for Returns:


- Millinen.com will not be responsible for any incorrect fund transfer/voucher issuance due to erroneous account detail input by the customers. Customers are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.
- Refunds will be issued only after the product is received at our warehouse.
- Prepaid refunds will be initiated within 3 working days of receiving the product. It may take 10-15 business days for the amount to reflect in your bank account.
- You can return either the complete order or specific items from the same order.
- Please ensure proper packaging and with tags and as in the original packet.
- Seal the packet completely before handing it over to courier partners.
- Please use separate packets for items from different orders.
- www.millinen.com follows a 7-day no questions asked return policy on applicable products. Products can be returned within 7 days of delivery.
